As i have said in past articles thank the lord for the likes of Henry Sy\'s in the Philippines as he is making a difference as well as many new progressive entrepreneurs which make this country a much better place,

In the other direction,Sony Philippines is and old day Philippine company that could careless about their clients because of the fear of rank and file from the higher ups. You get the sorry sir mentality and they care nothing of peoples time or gas cost and phone bills to their horrible Manila headquarters which is in fear of the gods in the executive offices.

So down to the facts. I bought a new P40,000 laptop a little more then a years ago and here are the series of events.

A) Battery recall-- After a series of event of 3 trips to their repair center final got that done. My loss of laptop was for more then 1 week and gas back and forth and headaches.THEY DO NOT CARE THEY ARE ROBOTS. SORRY SIR IS WHAT I GOT.

B) Several months later motherboard breaks down.Some two weeks later and loss of laptop i get my unit back. I begged for a new unit as motherboards do not breakdown in 4 months. SORRY SIR NO NEW UNIT. ASKED FOR EXTENDED WARRANTY SORRY SIR.

C) One month later Electric internal problems.Sony service has my unit for more then 2 weeks and they the service center agree i should get a new unit.So after countless paid phone calls to Manila and many emails at my loss of time i final almost 2 weeks later get a new unit. I did not choose they gave me their choice.And by the way Sony no longer has laptops in the Philippines wonder why? So more then a month without a laptop before the new one arrived from day the my laptop broke to my new one delivered. Just unreal and not one apology in fact the new laptop has only a 6 month warranty. So Sony i ask who was inconvenienced by all this? I was as i lost money and time and headaches,but no one cares at Sony just robotic answers.

D) So the new laptop of course as fate would have it 7 months later crashes. I have HP units more then 4 years a Samsung more then 3 years and Toshiba i had that final died after 6 years. One of my HP needed a new charger. So Sony now my second unit crashes and in less then a 1 year and 3 month 2 units are defective. Unit too dirty was told after 7 months,what, what? Paid for cleaning from Sony center as no warranty. So get my unit back and now several keys not working on keyboard. Now this is becoming a joke Sony wants P5500 for new keyboard. But wait free labor to console me. I can not curse in articles but you know what i would say to that free labor charge. Service center during the cleaning we are sure broke some letters on keyboard but not important. Laptop keyboards do not break after 7 months and units do not need to be cleaned after 7 months.Sony is producing garbage units.And did i mention ha ha they no longer carry laptops here.

E) In summary i can say Sony laptops are garbage and from rank and file to what i assume middle level management has zero power and their service center,shame on you Sony. I am not sure whether Japanese Headquarter cares but they will receive a copy of this article.

F} Conclusion is every-time i see people with their Apples and HP in town my blood pressure rises because i have had 2 laptops from Sony that were pure garbage.And their people were horrible as pure bureaucrats. So Sony this is my worse consumer experience in his history of the consumer world. And at $850 for a laptop makes things even worse.
