John sent a message to Marvin R. Ellison – President of J. C. Penney Company Inc.- email address that said:
Sorry to bother you with this. We were on your web site on cyber Monday, shopping for recliners. We saw something we liked, but wanted to see it first. We visited your store in Troy, Michigan and saw it, and liked it. Since your stores don't keep furniture on hand, they have to order it on line also. The salesgirl looked it up to order, and said it was a cyber Monday sale for $248. But then she sad they were out of stock. When she went to order it, actually we wanted 2 of them, the price came up to $315. Since it needed to be ordered anyway, don't you think we should have gotten the sale price? We did end up ordering them anyway, but feeling gyped.
Thanks for the ear, John
