At the beginning of the crisis we started making 100% cotton mask which many of you have ordered and we greatly appreciate your business. Now we are trying to look further down the road and since we are still in the unknown with the Corona virus we have partnered with Milliken to develop a fabric which will kill 99% of germs.
Below is a little information on the material and I have attached the spec sheet from Milliken with all of the information on the material.
Milliken BioSmart technology is a patented Milliken technology that binds chlorine bleach from the wash cycle to the surface of the fabric *.
When laundered as directed the BioSmart TM, technology binding chlorine to the maskâs surface, which then kills 99.9%** of many common bacteria and viruses.
*It needs washing with an EPA-registered chlorine bleach (using the EPA-registered chlorine bleach care label instructions), to charge the fabric prior to use.
**Based on a laboratory conditions using AATCC 100 test method.
We are expecting the material to arrive within three to four weeks, they will come in three colors, white, royal blue and light blue. I do have material on hand for a sample should you request one.
These will be designed exactly like our 100% cotton pique mask with the one inverted pleat and the elastic behind the head.
The selling price on these will be $36.00 a dozen with a one dozen minimum order.
