Joan Ellis sent a message to Gary Kelly that said:
Dear Mr. Kelly,
My name is Joanie Ellis and I am a young woman living my dreams in Baja California Sur, Mexico. I have been living here, near Cabo San Lucas, for about 2 years. I am from Colorado, and frequently travel home to Colorado to see my family. It has always been easy buying flights with Southwest to go home to see my family, and I have never flown with any other company from Cabo San Lucas. I absolutely love Southwest; I believe it is the number one airline company. I was recently accepted into the grad school program of my dreams at Colorado State University for Social Work. This program is an online grad school program, meaning that I can do it from any where in the world, but I have to go for a cohort meeting every 3 months. This would mean that I would need to fly to Colorado from Cabo San Lucas every 3 months. I am so excited about this opportunity, but there are many economical factors that have been difficult to arrange. I can only accept this grad school offer if I get help from everyone. My offer to you, Mr. Kelly and Southwest Airlines, is getting 50 percent off of my flights every 3 months from Cabo San Lucas to Denver for three years (it is a 3 year program). I would be happy to send you my letter of acceptance, and any other background information that you would need to help make my dream possible.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
Joan E Ellis
