Spectrum just started offering discounted internet services to folks who have kids on the paid lunch program.
https://www.spectrum.com/browse/content/spectrum-internet-assist.html
I know my sister qualifies for the discounted services:
Account Name: Amy Voegele
Account Number: 610395106
Service Address: 8779 PLANETREE CT, CLEVES, OH, 45002-9324
and I believe my brother may qualify and he lives on the same street in a trailer park.
My sister is going through a horrible divorce and my sisters and brother have been assisting her with her internet/cable. We were told that this was the cheapest package available.
My reason for writing you: Your spectrum assist people are telling us she has to CANCEL her service for 30 days...and then in 30 days she could sign up for the assist program. This logic is ridiculous. The program wasnt available in her area when she signed up, and I was told the package she has is teh cheapest that was available at the time.
She has 2 kids that get free lunches. So our only option to make her independent of us helping her would be to cancel time warner cable...sign her up for Cincinnati bell....and then go back to Time Warner Cable in 30 days.
What happens if we get Cincinnati bell....and decide going back just isnt worth the hassle, then you may lose 1 customer, you may lose 2 customers. If all of her siblings go up and see her service and how it runs, you could possibly lose 6 customers.
Let me know what you can do to get her in this program without having to cancel services. This seems ridiculous.
