Sunday evening right before going to bed I opened this bottle of Sierra Mist, my – Indra Nooyi email address

Roger sent a message to Indra Nooyi Chairman and CEO, PepsiCo, Inc. that said:

Sunday evening right before going to bed I opened this bottle of Sierra Mist, my favorite lemon-lime drink. I poured a small amount in a glass and drank it quickly.
The taste/flavor was horrendous but I thought it was just my taste buds because I'm taking a heavy duty antibiotic for sinusitis.
I forgot about my experience with this beverage and didn't realize that the grand kids, my wife and my two daughters had filled their glasses with the Sierra Mist yesterday for dinner.
The three older grandchildren started to drink and then started to gag. Then my wife and two daughters tried it only to gag and spit it out.
I called Pepsi, a Pepsi customer service rep answered the phone. I explained what happened, she had me read the UPC code and the expiration date with the other code stamped underneath it. She took all the info and then asked me for my name, phone number, address and email address.
She told me that in 4/6 weeks I will get a coupon to replace the 2 liter bottle.
I said repeatedly "don't you want to have this back for testing". I asked that question several times and said I would like to send it back because it tastes like a foul chemical or bad, very bad well water. The rep. insisted I throw it away and they would send me a coupon for another.
1. A coupon for one 2 liter after making my family nauseous is no where near enough compensation for the problems and the horrendous experience yesterday
2. I truly believe Pepsi should have this bottle of tainted Sierra Mist back for testing.
The lackadaisical response from the rep. to "throw it away" is not what corporate care and responsibility should be. I thought better of Pepsi and I thought they had a true caring concern for the well being of their loyal customers. Roger 1/19/2016 to Pepsi Facebook
