Dear Mr. Rogers
I received a letter saying after 20 years we need flood insurance because we have a equity line. This was opened because our financial adviser said it wood be better than paying cash for what we wanted to do. This was fine then and all under 200.00 dollars a month. We always paid 500.00 anyway. Now it does not seem to be worth doing this as we renewed the loan and it coast 341.00 a month plus you now need flood insurance. I find the coast of both unfair. It would be better to pay association fees and live in a gated community than this.
The only course I see is to have our financial adviser to send money to our account to close this line of Equity and move all funds to Vystare bank where we have another account..
At our age if this flood happens We would sale the place as is and move else where. Why would we want to rebuild and have it happen again.
