My name is Gary Cater. We had a home mortgage with Suntrust that was paid off on 5/2/20. I was told that the balance of the escrow account (approx. $16500) would be returned to us in 2 weeks.
I have made multiple phone calls to the mortgage department where I received different stories on almost every call.
I eventually found my way to Escalation Resolution Team last week (case number 5446117). Despite repeated calls I am not able to get any information about what has gone wrong with this process and when we might receive our money.
