My name is Gary Cater. We had a home mortgage with Suntrust that was paid off on 5/2/20. I was told that the balance of the escrow account (approx. $16500) would be returned to us in 2 weeks.
I have made multiple phone calls to the mortgage department where I received different stories on almost every call.
I eventually found my way to Escalation Resolution Team last week (case number 5446117). Despite repeated calls I am not able to get any information about what has gone wrong with this process and when we might receive our money.
I can provide names for some of the Suntrust representatives and our contact information if it will help.
Are you able to assist us in obtaining the refund of our money in a timely fashion?
