My husband & I have been SunTrust customers for over 35 years. My husband just passed away in April. He had a SunTrust credit card which we paid off each month. He earned dollars in this account. At the time of his death, we ha in excess of 400 thousand dollars in SunTrust held jointly ROS. Because I was just an "authorized" user and not the owner of the credit card, SunTrust refuses to put the earned money in our still open joint account. They want me to probate for less than $400. I will not do that as everything we owned was joint but what I will do is remove the remaining savings from SunTrust next week. I already removed 200 thousand and put it with Bank America. Great customer service SunTrust-way to earn my business. Meredith Martin
