Anne sent a message to Gary C. Kelly Chairman, President, and CEO, Southwest Airlines Co. – email address that said:
SW was always my favorite airline for its good service. But the recent debacle trapping us in Midway Airport without ANY help for passengers. Seniors sitting on the floor. Babies, toddlers, parents on the floor. Disabled man(cerebral palsy?) who could no longer endure his wheel chair -- on the floor.
We were able to pay for a few hours in a motel. Many others could not. Finally, we had to find a transfer to O'Hare and find another airline, a big expense. At age 78 and 79 we could not continue the stress.
But I think that the worse failure of the airline was lack of customer care in the airport and apparent lack of planning for emergencies.
I hope you can correct these deficiencies as well as the communications' failures.
