The Downtown Marriott Hotel is responsible for the loss of my Lands End Women's Coat, the cost of which is $249. I checked in to the hotel, telling them that I was sharing a room with a friend for the ASHA conference. They gave me a key. I hung my coat in the closet and went to look for my friend. Upon finding my friend, we discovered she had been put into a different room. We told the desk clerk who said they would retrieve my coat and gave me a key to the correct room. When I checked back, I was told the coat was no longer in the room. Russell filed a report. I then received a letter from Kathryn of MCS with a claim. I have had no response to my follow-up email and phone call to Kathryn. It has been 12 days since Marriott lost my coat. Please replace the coat, or send reimbursement. Thank you for your time and attention.
