Anthony N Colichio sent a message to Christopher Swift that said:
I filed a claim for business interruption on march 21, 2020. at the time the decision of your company was not to cover my loss. During a Presidential press conference on April 10, 2020, President Trump determined that the insurance companies should pay their insured that carry business interruption insurance regardless of the lack of property damage.
The president also said that he was going to be speaking to the insurance companies to require them to cover loss of business due to this pandemic
I understand that the Hartford does not cover this type of loss at this time. however, the last time the world had a pandemic was almost 100 years ago. furthermore, I did not deny pandemic coverage when I bought my policy and there is no clause that specifically excludes pandemics. please restart the claim when the rules change. I have been paying business insurance for 33 years. I think I am entitled to receive some type of compensation under these uncommon and unforeseen circumstances.
Thank you in advance for your help.
