@TheHartford – Christopher Swift – I was involved in a no fault car accident, rear ended so badly the car

Joyce Walter sent a message to Christopher Swift that said:

I was involved in a no fault car accident, rear ended so badly the car was totaled. The Hartford was great with all but the auto division. They told me I was covered for a 30 car rental, with an extension of a week if the car was totaled. I was away for 23 days - 10/13-11/8 and resumed the rental on 11/9. I assumed that the time I hadn't rented a car would push the days forward, but I am being told by a very rude person, that these were consecutive days and not the actual number of days I used my rental coverage. This entails me renting at my expense? No one made it clear the the days were consecutive and I'm pretty upset. She offered to send half the settlement amount, and the extended the rental for 5 more days. I have no time to find the equivalent car -the dealers are searching - and cannot lay out the difference. This whole thing is very upsetting. Can you please find a way to give me back the days that I didn't rent a car - 23 - because it was never made clear that the days were consecutive, and there was no to the The Hartford. I write to you because the person in charge of this was extremely rude and threatened to hang up on me if I didn't stop trying to explain my misunderstanding. I was never told the days were consecutive. Can you help me? I have no recourse but cowrite to you. Joyce Walter
