There is an employee of yours that has been very loyal for over 10 years. This person was demoted to no true fault of their own 5 yrs or more ago and has been turned down for at least 8 interviews to work their way back up the line. Every time the person interviews it is a different reason why they will not promote. This person does a great job for the company and deserves a chance to move up. After this long at the company this person should be a large boss by now, but isn't. The feeling of this person is going down emotionally and makes them think why should I do my best if I will not be moved up. You should really take a look at your people that you left in charge in MO. Because they are not doing their jobs fairly. Ex. Posting a job at 11am and announcing who got the promotion around 2 hrs later, talking with bosses and level 1 on who is gay and who isn't. Just because they are worried this person could take their job and do it better and isn't "one of the boys" (hang with them and go out drinking), they will not promote a great employee. I thought you should know what is going on in the company back here. My husband does not know I am doing this, but after all these years I could not sit back and say nothing any longer.
Thank you
