This is regarding the Livermore Harley shop in Livermore California.
Saturday 11/5/2016 I had to bring my back in after I picked it up Friday 11/4/2016, got home and realized my right highway peg was missing. The perfectly intact peg that was on my bike when I brought it in for service and ESP work was missing .I was told that the peg had to be removed to remove the exhaust. The peg was not in the way, so the technician handled my highway peg, broke the bolt and did not take responsibility and blamed me. The store manager and department manager for the day implied that I brought my bike in with a defective bolt. The worst part was that I was expected to pay for the extraction of that bolt. After we politely argued, in which I refuse to pay for the damaged done to my bike while it was in Livermore Harley possession for service, the store manager for the day finally settled to extract the bolt and reinstall my highway peg while I wait at no cost to me.
The most disappointing part of the conversation was that I was told that thing just break it just happens and I did not even get a I am sorry for the inconvenience, because I already knew I was not going to get an I am sorry we made a mistake and broke the bolt to your highway peg and we expected you to pay for the repairs. I am sure that I will be labeled as a problem customer and not receive good customer service there. So I will never be able to bring my bike back there for service or will I shop there for any reason. I am so disappointed.
Respectfully ,Ana
