In October 1955 my father purchased an AAL life insurance policy, naming my mother as beneficiary. He died in December 2019. On January 6 I notified Thrivent of his death using Thrivent's website. I am outraged by the series of delaying tactics being used by Thrivent representatives to dissuade my mother from claiming the lump sum death benefit. Please email any forms needed to claim this benefit to me immediately, so the death benefit plus interest required by Wisconsin law can be paid to my mother without further delay. Paying this claim promptly will avoid the adverse publicity that Thrivent, which claims to have Christian values and support grieving families, will receive if I file complaints with the Wisconsin Commissioner of Insurance and the BBB,
