CHRISTOPHER SAENZ sent a message to Bradford L Hewitt that said:
Mr. Hewitt,
As Vice Chair for Habitat for Humanity I am asking for your help for my sister.
I am writing for my sister who was applying for a house at 4026 McFadden Way Santa Ana, CA. 92704. She has been working with Alex Islas at Cathay Bank, Loan # 742099. She also has been working with Joseph Bennington your Habitat for Humanity of Orange County CFO. On 4/8/2018 they signed the Cathay Bank Loan #7420999 paperwork. She was informed by Alex that Mr. Bennington was finalizing the paperwork to send to the attorneys. When I went to visit her tonight she said that she got a call from Alex Islas and that her FICO score was too low and after 3 months of being informed that she was qualified now to be told she will not get the house. My sister has been a cancer survivor for 10+ years. She has taught Kindergarten at her church school for 20+ years. When she first told me about the opportunity I could not find anyone more deserving to be a recipient of a Habitat for Humanity house then my sister. Now after 3 months of getting her hopes and dreams turned from reality to disaster she is devastated. I do not want her lifelong dreams of not getting a home because of a low FICO score. Is there anyway you can give her a waiver for the FICO score or if I can cosign a loan for my sister. I can also volunteer to be on your OC Board of Directors, what ever it takes I just want to help my sister to obtain her dream which is a house.
I reviewed your 2017 990 form with your mission statement as SEEKING TO PUT GOD'S LOVE INTO ACTION FOR HUMANITY BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER TO BUILD HOMES, COMMUNITIES AND HOPE.
I am just asking for a little love and hope for my sister and granting her a waiver to get this house.
Regards,
Christopher Saenz, MBA
