Hello
I am writing about a poor experience I had Saturday at the Marshalls-Home Goods in Wethersfield, CT. I had to return a rug at what happened to be an extremely busy time. I had my 2 young granddaughters with me and I brought the rug into the store and went to the first register. They handed me a ticket and said to get in line (which was 3 rows of at least 75 customers). There were no carts in the store to put my granddaughters in so I asked very politely if they could just do the return and without even making eye contact they said "No--you have to get in line like everybody else"!! There was no designated return line--people had to wait in this ridiculous line of people buying carts and carts of things to simply return one item. (Another customer had one pair of socks to return and she left saying "forget it"!) It took over a half hour in line to make this simple return. This is very poor customer service and the way I was treated and spoken to was extremely rude. My grown daughters and I are regular customers of Marshalls and TJ Maxx and we would like to be treated like we were appreciated.
