To Andrew House,
I am writing to express my frustrations with a recent experience I had when trying to purchase the latest expansion pack for Destiny: Rise Of Iron. I was trying to pre-order the expansion and received an error message saying I don't have the previous game, I called playstation and was told it will work once the game came out, this however didnt work and I missed out on the extra content which was available.
I went to purchase it once the game came out and was still not able to purchase it, I called playstation again and was told to restore my game licenses and it will work, this also didnt work and was advised to delete the game and reinstall. This took 16 hours to download and reinstall, one again this didn't work and the customer service line was closed. I then called the next day and was told there wasn't anything playstation could do and that I had to keep calling for the next few days until there is a solution or wait for an email. I feel this was an appalling way to deal with a paying customer, I then called again today and the customer service team finally escalated my issue, but I'm not happy that it took so long for me to be taken seriously.
I still have no resolution to my problem which is very frustrating seeing as I have been a loyal customer to playstation for decades, I have bought every playstation product from PS1 all the way through to the latest console, I have my playstation plus being wasted as I'm not using it because my game is offline.
I would like a resolution to this problem as soon as possible, I would also like to be compensated for this inconvenience as this issue is completely out of my hands.
