To CEO of Volkswagan.
Living in America and having traveled around I find many would like to have a vehicle that is
a 2 in one . You still have the technology of the frames of the old Beetles. Put a steel dune buggy
frame on it that has the roll over bar and piperail frame around it. Also put small doors on the
body. Make it like a car and RV in one. It would sell. Take the old volks engine and put in a beefed up
one. You can integrate high tech modified carbuerators and still certify in emissions. An all ready
made up vehicle that someone can just buy and not have to build would sell. Yes , it would need
roll up windows and a heater. Windows are easy and I came up with a solution for the heater
system that no one liked . It is a self contained heater system. A small tank with coolant has 2
heater elements in it with a small electric motor and pump assembly to pump the heated coolant to
the small heater core. On the heater core is a shallow profile 3 speed fan. THe entire unit can be
easily accessed to replace parts and is self contained in a 10"x 10" box. As far as the car version
that is easy. People would like a strong durable frame under their vehicle. Most aren't crying
about gas mileage when they want an off road vehicle. You could also make inexpensive
sports car and truck version both off the same framework. If it also made easy to work on and repair
everyone will love it. You will sell them world wide and places like Australia and Puerto Rico.
There are a lot of off roaders and people who are into out door survival. I'm sure it would help
bring your company back around. There are many people in the US who still have old Beetles
from the 50-60 models and they won't part with them. There are several clubs. Who knows
Maybe a new redesigned arerodynamic vw bus too. It made you tons before. Money is the way.
Ford brought back the thunderbird and mustang and Gm brought back there redesigned oldies.
Even Crysler the Challenger and Charger. You should jump at this idea. Start with Dune buggy
first though,absolutely.

Seriously,
Don
