To whom it may concern: My husband and I have been customers of BB&T for – Kelly S King email address

Jessamine sent a message to Kelly S. King Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BBT Corporation Email Address that said:

To whom it may concern:
My husband and I have been customers of BBT for many years now, we have put our faith in BBT to handle our business and our personal accounts. In the past if we have had trouble our branch has helped us in any way possible to get our account straightened back out, however, this last week has left us wanting to desperately leave BBT. Our accounts were fine until we had a problem and one of our deposits got missed. This resulted in tons of overdraft charges and a really terrible attitude from the staff at our local branch. We have been open for nearly 3 years now as a small business and have never asked BBT to remove any charges or do us any favors. This week, I asked our banker if there was anything to be done, as the overdraft charges are large and a huge hit to our business. I was told the best that could be done was 2 overdraft charges taken off. I realize that your policy is in place for a reason and that this is part of how you make money off of your customers, however, I am appalled. Over the past 3 years we have deposited nearly 1 million dollars to our BBT account, we have paid fees, account charges, and other miscellaneous charges and fees that showed up on our account. I would have been lead to believe that a business that keeps their account current, pays fees as necessary and brings excellent business to BBT would be treated better. However that does not seem to be the case. We will be taking our business elsewhere, taking our money from BBT and finding a more worthy bank. I just thought you should know how incredibly disappointed I am, where we once were proud to bank with BBT we are now ashamed.
Thank you for your time,
Jessamine Steven
