Today, a story is going viral about a young man who was sent home for – W Rodney McMullen email address

Carolynn sent a message to Rodney McMullen – Chief Executive Officer of The Kroger Co. email address that said:

Today, a story is going viral about a young man who was sent home for wearing a particular jersey to work on a day when employees at a Springfield, OH had been encouraged to wear jerseys. A customer complained about this young man's Kaepernick jersey, and the manager chose to side with bigotry instead of stand behind his employee who had done nothing wrong. I hope this action is not supported by the Kroger company that I have been shopping at. This employee was told to clock out and go home and change. At the very least, he should be compensated for that time he was told to clock out and any extra transportation costs he incurred, because he came to work, broke no rule, and was doing his job. For him to be penalized in any way for another person's bigotry is unethical. The manager who made this bad decision should face some disciplinary action, as well.
