Toxey, I am a songwriter. I have a co-writer(Rick Norheim) who lives in Frontier, Sas. Canada. As always he'll send lyrics and I put a melody to it. However: I usually do a lot of changes in the lyrics to what he sends. He's is an avid out doors man. Me I Just fish and never heard of Mossy Oak in my life. As always when he sends me an idea I do a hell of a lot of research mainly imagery and try to place myself into the shoes of a large population of listeners to capture a common emotion that they all share. What I found is a story the just blew me away. The song was supposed to be written for Brad Paisley with his usually entertaining video. The video/song circles around a spouse and her husband and peripheral family. The husband is the primary person being amazed yet confused by her request. The verse sets up the personal and the chorus validates aspects of the outdoor industry. The song is Camo The Kitchen. Right now it is a decent scratch video/song. As a song I would need permission to use the name Mossy Oak. My thoughts would be for the video is Brad Paisley doing the video with you and your family or a parallel to you and your family using actors if you do not wish to expose your family. My video is just to project the idea. I don't have permission to release any product brand visuals, images etc. and would think that your team would do much better at a video.
