William L Hess sent a message to John Lederer that said:
I am the Director of Culinary Ministries at Lexington Presbyterian Church in Lexington, Virginia. We have had an account with US FOODS for several years. Although we are not a large account, we did depend on US FOODS to supply our food needs. Recently we were told that we needed to have a minimum order of 15 cases. For us, that's a lot, but we did honor that request. Now you tell us that we are too small to fool with since it is hard to get drivers. Your truck from Salem, Virginia, comes to 3 restaurants in the same block as our church. Do you just not want small business or church business. I now have to depend on SAMS. I just wanted to let you know that I think you new "policy" stinks. If you attend any church, maybe you should check to see how they are coping purchasing food. Thank you.
