Carl Dunn sent a message to Lowell McAdam that said:
Hans, I live in semi-rural Pennsylvania. I have been a Verizon DSL customer for 18 years now. I have contacted Verizon support numerous times trying to find out when a communication link to my home that is above the FCC high speed minimum might be offered to me and the other neighbors in my area. I keep getting the same response from Verizon customer support. "It is not offerred in your area. We have no idea when it may be offered." I used to not worry about this slow 1.5 Mbps connection. It handled the daily check of the news and other internet e-mail that we did at home. Now with "stay at home" orders in PA due to Coronovirus, it is becoming a major issue with me, my wife (school teacher) and my kids trying to connect for on-line Zoom, Skype, and other methods of communications. When is Verizon going to provide rural America with a decent means of connecting to the world that is faster than 1.5 Mbps.
