Mark A Weiss sent a message to Lowell McAdam that said:
Mr Verstberg, I have been a long time customer starting in 1994 when I purchased my first bag phone from C and P telephone in Maryland. That company eventually became part of Verizon. I have been a faithful customer for 26 years but today was the worst experience I have ever had with your company. I was ready to upgrade both my and my wifes phone at our local Verizon store. I followed procedures and schedueled my appointment, arrived on time and waited until I was approached by a associate. First thing I was told only I could come into the store. Even though we were both getting a new phone. Then I was told if that was not acceptable we could go home and order out phones on line. I have always relied on the associates to help us with the transaction and this was a bit alarming. We are both seniors, and not super tech savy like some of the younger folks. I went in by myself to look around and then found out they didn't even have the phone I wanted in stock. Then I asked about the trade in program your emails advertised only to be informed I couldn't participate in that program unless I was on the unlimited program. Now, I am a senior citizen, retired military on a fixed income. This is just not something we can afford. Not sure where your company is headed but you certainly arn't taking care of long time customers. I may have to look elsewhere.
