Very disappointed in the manner in which my short term disability was handled by Hartford. My wife had a heart attack a week before my surgery and I had brain surgery the week after with complications. We had to send a check for overpayment last month, and we are sending another one for May because the state and the insurance dont know how to talk to each other. Im to the point of regretting having short term disability. Review the performance of your staff to make sure they are not adding more stress on the family when they are needing help from all directions.
