David Holman sent a message to Vittorio Colao that said:
Dear Mr Read
I hope you and your family had a nice Christmas, and may I take this opportunity to wish you & your family a Happy Healthy and Prosperous New Year.
Please forgive this e mail, but I am using as a test that I have the right e mail address for you as CEO of Vodafone .
I will not go into details now, but please be advised that in trying to transfer from Talk Talk to Vodafone has been a total disaster and has somewhat spoilt my family Christmas.
It appears that I was not told the truth (I have written confirmation of this) and based my transfer to Vodafone on this information which related to Cable & Wireless fibre optic system you use, or not as I was told this morning by a Vodafone employee
My Superfast Broadband 2 speed has on average been, .9 mbs all over Christmas and not the 59mbs I was told I had finally on the 23rd, in reality my transfer date should have been 10th Dec
There are many many failings in this saga, and some praise for staff.
I will conclude at this point, but I do have a real bad story to tell about my transfer from Talk Talk to Vodafone.
I accept that you have more important things to do, therefore if you wish I will advise of all failings which got even worse today after over 4hrs talking to staff to another staff member, perhaps not in the âDirectors Office / Complaints Teamâ as this also affects them
Thank you for taking the time to read this e mail
Regards
David Holman
