Im sure this isn’t your real email, and Im probably just writing this email that will never get read but I guess I thought it wouldn’t hurt to try. My daughter turned 16 last year she really wanted an Audi and we looked and looked but instead we found a Volkswagen Jetta GLI that she fell in love with. She took such good care of her car was so excited about it. She had her Volkswagen key chain, light up Volkswagen cup holders, even put lights in the door so the Volkswagen sign shined when she opened the doors. She took exceptional care of the car and today that car saved her life, A gentleman ran a red light and hit Makenzie so har the opened the back passenger door like can opener. She spun around and he hit her again. The airbags went off and protected her friend and the system in the car came on and there was someone on the speakers of her car who brought her comfort and called the police. Im and ER nurse and nothing could’ve prepared me for the call from my hysterical child telling me she had just been hit by someone. I was about 20 minutes away from her and raced back to her to find her completely unharmed and I have your company to thank for that

Makenzie finished high school early and hasn’t been back to school since January of this year. She won’t get a senior prom and she won’t get a graduation. I know your discount is for college students but are their any for high school students. This poor girl is missing so much of what should have been one of the best years of her life. She has dealt with me having to work side by side with COVID patients for the last few months and keeping a distance from her and now today she also lost her car. To say I am heartbroken for her would be an understatement and now we have to start to look for another Jetta GLI that comes close to what she had or again look for an Audi A3 or 4. ITs been just me and Makenzie for the last 5 years and I know everyone says what great kids they have but I really do. She cooks dinner when I work, she is always helping me out and really need to find a way to replace her car. I had taken money out of my retirement account when I bought her this car so any discounts that might be out there would be really helpful.

Thank you for building a car that protected my child that let her walk away unharmed. People keep thanking me every day for being a nurse and doing what I do but im thanking you for doing what you do and building cars that protect the drivers

Sincerely
Marin Sweeney
