Why does Walgreens make it so unbelievably difficult to get prescriptions filled? I have nearly $10,000 a month of vital prescription medications, none have changed in the past two years and ONLY ONE OF YOUR LOCATIONS seems to be remotely interested in assisting me, helping your profits, and maintaining my health. The corner of happy and healthy? No, it’s more like frustrated and anxious.
The Walgreens at MOB 1 in Slidell, LA is excellent. Unfortunately, that is an hour away from my home. Walgreens at Elysian Fields at St. Claude Avenue and Decatur Street in New Orleans is WORTHLESS. I have contacted both pharmacy managers, arranged to have time to speak with them one on one to explain my medical condition and ensure orders would not have to be placed last minute. I was under the impression Walgreens appreciated and encouraged patient/provider communication and consultation. Shouldn’t the patient play an active role in their own healthcare?
Aside from the condescending attitudes from both pharmacy managers, the staff is equally awful. Surly attitudes, zero sense of ownership, and a horrible representation of a brand. Perhaps we can discuss this in more detail over the phone. I look forward to your solutions.
