David sent a message to Mark Fields – President and Chief Executive Officer of Ford Motor Company email address that said:
We have a 2011 ford escape at the Taylor ford motor in Waynesville NC . Our gas tank has rusted out and we have already spent $600.00 plus to find the problem. [we had a gas smell at first] They have replace some parts but did not fix the problem . Now they say the gas tank should not have rusted out like that. So I have called ford customer care and they have said no to any help with this. Taylor ford also said this car has rust all over the bottom . Please let us know what can be done with this . We have always gotten Ford products .
