We have had Windstream as our phone and internet carrier since we moved to GA. When we first upgraded to DSL, the connection was great, but since then it has been going downhill.
My husband does all his paperwork for his job online, including payroll. And with the connection as slow and intermittent as it has been, hes had to resort to using a Verizon hotspot--which he normally uses in remote locations for work--to get his payroll paperwork in.
Im a writer and use social media to promote my novels. Days like today, I havent been able to post anything, and havent been able to update my blog because of the slow connection.
Yes, they sent a technician out about 2 weeks ago, and he replaced some equipment in the unit up the road from here. And it was better for a few days, But then it began to slow down again.
If we had any other options out here besides satellite, which is very expensive, we would go with someone else. But we dont have that option.
In the meantime, Ill see if I can rescue the draft for my blog post and try to post the link for my latest novel one more time. Perhaps at some point today, it will post.
