When I retired, I called MetLife to obtain a MetLifeTakeAlongDental policy. I have had MetLife insurance for more than 4 decades, so I knew what to expect. Instead, reimbursement of the same costs from the identical doctors, is being paid at 25% to 30% of what I am used to receiving. It's more than a bit of a puzzler. The customer service rep that signed me up should have explained that this is in no way a "Take Along" policy. The name is a misnomer and misleading. I think that truth in advertising should apply here.
I'm feeling a bit of the fool. I've just always had such a good experience with MetLife, I trusted that this would be good too. Disappointed.
