@WhirlpoolCorp – Jeff Fettig – Good morning Mr. Bitzer, My name is Ana Lopes and I live in Rehoboth Ma

ANA LOPES sent a message to Jeff Fettig that said:

Good morning Mr. Bitzer,
My name is Ana Lopes and I live in Rehoboth Ma. About 6 years ago I bought a new home and after researching appliances I settled on all KitchenAid appliances. I bought a dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and stove.

All but one appliance are still standing. My fridge had a faulty trap which is a known issue with kitchen aid on that model, and it leaked while I was away on vacation flooding my finished basement. I had to file a claim with my insurance company to fix the damage to my home. My dishwasher, which I barely use had to have the motor replaced last year and now my microwave door fell off yesterday putting a huge gouge in my hardwood floors in the kitchen.
I spoke with your service team who said they can't do anything for me because my appliances are 6 years old. I remember the days where appliances lasted 20 years. It seems as though they are made now to break so you have to buy new ones.
If this was one appliance I would chalk it up to a faulty unit but three appliances out of four having major issues that caused major damage to my home, that's just poor quality. I wanted to reach out to you so you know that this is an issue. I know I'm one person and my opinion may not matter to you with all that you have on your plate but as chairman, I think it's important that you understand how this issue has completely soiled my impression of your brand which I once held in high regard.

I look forward to hearing back from you or a member of your staff and appreciate your time in advance.

Sincerely,
Ana Lopes
