I am a very unhappy customer and I am sharing my disappointment with Whirlpool with all my friends and family. On Mother's Day 2018, we purchased a refrigerator from Lowe's. We have had nothing but problems with the ice maker since day one. One repairman, after his 3rd trip said he would not come back. Another company came and took a look and decided that we needed a new ice maker which he ordered and when it arrived he installed it. It has not been right either and on Friday May 24th before the big Holiday weekend where I have 10 extra people here the "NEW" ice maker quit. So we called Whirlpool and after about 20 minutes of conversation, were told that our 1 year manufacturers warranty had expired and we would have to deal with Lowe's. So a call to Lowe's informs us that the next appointment would be May 31, doing me absolutely no good this weekend. At the on set, I was not pleased with Customer Service woman that I spoke with, she was abrupt and made it appear that it was my fault that the machine was malfunctioning. Asked to speak to someone over her and was told "I am as high as it goes". I wonder if it had been the entire refrigerator and I had food for 10 extra people that would spoil if I didn't get repaired would it still have taken a week to get someone to my house. At this point, I will never buy a Whirlpool product again and will encourage everyone I know to not buy one either,
