Ellen Clark sent a message to Jeff Fettig that said:
I was given a Kitchenaid Pro 6 stand mixer. It is no longer under warranty and was not used properly, but can be repaired.
HOWEVER, I have not been able to find a way to get it repaired.
I have called the company phone numbers, and even tried to use the live chat. After about a month of effort, I have had no success at all in being able to talk to anybody who can or will help.
I have several other Whirlpool/Kitchenaid appliances and believe they are generally good products. In this instance, the customer service is just terrible. If you wish to keep your company's reputation, I would suggest that customer service be revamped and immediately improved.
All I want to know is where I can take the mixer to be repaired, at my expense. So far, that seems to be beyond the company's ability to answer.
