With the recent Hurricane Matthew event displacing millions of folks in the south my daughter was forced to retreat with 2 small children to Atlanta Ga from last tues to today Monday the 10th. I could not secure her a room anywhere as a Hilton employee and honors member. She lives in Hilton Head SC which was totally devasted by the hurricane. The cost of her stay for almost a week was a severe hit in the pocket book. She asked the hotel if there was anything they could do to discount her stay but they said there was nothing they could do.I understand the situation totally. She made them aware that I(the Dad) was a Hilton employee and if it was possible to pay the employee rate.Sorry. Again I understand. Is there anything I can do as an employee to call and plead my case for her and to lower the bill associated with this disaster.???
I would more then welcome the HHonors rate to save her this expense associated with this Hurricane and the need to evacuate quickly. Thanks for your time. Your doing a fantastic job as CEO. When do you sleep?
