Dear Mr. Takuya Nakata. My Name is Anar Isayev and I’m emailing you from Azerbaijan, Baku in regards of Yamaha Musical Instruments in Baku.
First, let me tell you about myself a little bit. I leave in US, but for the past 5 years I work in Azerbaijan. In US I toured as a Musician and was a Guitar Instructor at the Atlanta Institute of Music and Media.
In Baku I own a studio and I’m Musical Director for 4 main acts (Zamiq, Miri Yusif, Aygun Kazimova, Roya) and I also produce and write music. I’m not even going to mention tons of gigs that I have done such as The Voice Show etc….
Now, about the Yamaha Instruments being sold in Baku by Music Gallery (MG). I believe they are your exclusive dealer in this region.
I’m a long time user of Yamaha Drums. Guitars and studio monitors. But in Baku MG only sells gear for beginners. Yesterday I contacted the MG to order me a Yamaha Stage Custom Drum shell kit with 22” kick drum. And they quoted me a 2400 AZN ($1,400). Something that Thomann sells with sipping to Baku for $665. The problem is, Thomann does not sell Yamaha gear to Azerbaijan anymore because of MG in Baku. So, all we can get here is cheap gear for super expensive. This is not acceptable. There is lots of gear being bought from Baku everyday from thomann website and none of them is Yamaha. Please, do something about that. We would like to by a great Yamaha gear for a reasonable price. Thank you!
