Thomas B. Mangas who is currently the executive vice president and chief financial officer of Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Incorporated has been named the new chief executive officer effective as of Thursday, December 31, 2015.

Mr. Thomas B. Mangas, also known as Tom, served as Chief Executive Officer of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. from December 31, 2015 to September 23, 2016. Mr. Mangas served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. from September 29, 2014 to December 31, 2015. Mr. Mangas served as Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of Armstrong Floor Products, a division of Armstrong World Industries, Inc. from November 16, 2013 to September 26, 2014. From February 1, 2010 to November 16, 2013, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the parent company, Armstrong World Industries, Inc., where he was responsible for finance, investor relations, information technology, and global business services. Mr. Mangas served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Armstrong World Industries Ltd. He joined Armstrong in February 2010. He previously served as Vice President, Finance & Accounting of the Global Beauty and Grooming division at The Procter & Gamble Company since 2008 and served as its Chief Financial Officer. He has been Director of ATD Corporation since October 07, 2014. He served as Director of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. from January 19, 2016 to September 23, 2016. Mr. Mangas earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics and History from the University of Virginia in 1990 where he was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honorary society.
