Adam Tan serves as Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of HNA Group.

Mr. Tan is responsible for the HNA Group's finance system, international affairs and HNA Capital and HNA Logistics management work. He joined HNA Group in 1991 as one of its founders. He served as Managing Director of Hainan Airlines since 2001. He served as Vice Chairman of HNA, President of HNA Group and Vice Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of HNA Group (International) Company from 2013 to 2015. Mr. Tan serves as the Chairman of gategroup Holding AG. He served as Executive Chairman of HNA Holdings from 2007 to 2011 and Chairman of HNA Capital from 2011 to 2015. From 2001 to 2013, he served as Director of the HNA Board of Directors. Mr. Tan graduated from the Capital University of Business and Economics with a Master’s degree in Economics and received an MBA from St. John’s University in New York. He also studied at Harvard Business School from 2000 to 2001.
