Amit Kaushal is the Group Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Holding, where he leads the company’s operations in over 10 countries and across 12 industries focused on hospitality, tourism, real estate, retail and entertainment. He also sits on the boards of several regional and international hospitality and real estate organizations.
Prior to joining Dubai Holding in 2017, Amit was the Chief Financial & Investment Officer at Meraas Holding, a Dubai based conglomerate. During his tenure, Amit facilitated Meraas’ smooth transition through its development, construction and operational stages.

Amit’s vast experience includes 10 years in Investment Banking, where he worked for Goldman Sachs, UBS and Deutsche Bank. Amit helped build successful platforms for each of these banks, as they looked to expand into Emerging Markets including the GCC and Central and Eastern Europe. In doing so, he became a recognised specialist across advisory, structuring, capital markets and funding disciplines.
Amit holds a Master of Philosophy degree in Finance from the University of Cambridge and a BSc (First Class Hons.) in Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics from the University of Warwick.
Amit is a British national, schooled and raised in Kenya before attending university in the UK.
