Mr. William D. Nash, also known as Bill, has been the Chief Executive Officer of CarMax, Inc. since September 2016 and its President since February 1, 2016. Mr. Nash served as an Executive Vice President of Human Resources & Administrative Services at CarMax, Inc. since March 2012 until February 1, 2016. Mr. Nash served as Senior Vice President of Merchandising at CarMax, Inc. since 2010 until October 2011 and senior vice president, human resources and administrative services since 2011 until 2012. He joined CarMax in 1997 as Auction Manager. He subsequently served as Auction Director, Assistant Vice President of auction services and Vice President of auction services at CarMax, Inc. He served as Vice President of Merchandising at CarMax, Inc. since 2007. Prior to joining CarMax, he held various positions at Circuit City and he worked in public accounting. He has been a Director of CarMax, Inc. since September 1, 2016. He holds Bachelor's degree in Business Accounting from James Madison University.
