Billy Gifford is the Chief Executive Officer for Altria Group. Billy has served in numerous senior leadership roles during his more than 25-year career at Altria, including most recently Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer where he was responsible for Altria's financial functions as well as its core tobacco businesses, sales and distribution business and Consumer & Market Insights team.
Since joining Philip Morris USA in 1994, Billy has served in numerous leadership roles in Strategy & Business Development, Finance, Marketing Information & Consumer Research and as President and Chief Executive Officer of PM USA. Prior to that, he was Vice President and Treasurer for Altria Group where he led various functions including Risk Management, Treasury Management, Benefits Investments, Corporate Finance and Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis.
Prior to joining PM USA, Billy worked at the public accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand, which currently is known as PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Billy serves on the Board of Directors of Anheuser-Busch InBev. He also serves on the Board of Catalyst and is a Catalyst CEO Champion for Change.
