Mr. David L. Hoffmann, also known as Dave, has been Chief Executive Officer of Dunkin' Brands Group, Inc. since July 11, 2018 and its Director since July 10, 2018. Mr. Hoffmann serves as the President of Dunkin' Donuts USA, Inc. and Dunkin' Donuts LLC Mr. Hoffmann has been the President of Donuts U.S. and Canada at Dunkin' Brands Group, Inc. since October 3, 2016. Mr. Hoffmann is responsible for Dunkin' Donuts operations and marketing in the U.S. and Canada, as well as global franchising and store development for both Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins. Mr. Hoffmann is a proven leader with a wealth of quick service restaurant and franchising experience and a solid track record of delivering growth in a wide range of economic and competitive environments. His financial and industry expertise, combined with his strong talent development skills and experience using digital technologies to enhance the restaurant experience, makes him uniquely positioned to help accelerate Dunkin' Donuts' strategic expansion in the U.S. Mr. Hoffmann joined Dunkin' Brands after 22 years with McDonald's Corporation. Mr. Hoffmann served as the President of High-Growth Markets at McDonald's Corporation since July 1, 2015 until September 30, 2016. Mr. Hoffmann served as the President of Asia/Pacific, Middle East & Africa Operations at McDonald's Corp. from July 1, 2012 to June 1,2015. He served as Senior Vice President of Restaurant Support for McDonald's Asia/Pacific, Middle East and Africa Region at McDonald's Corp. from January 2012 to June 2012. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Strategy, Insights & Development for Asia/Pacific, Middle East and Africa at McDonald's Corp. from May 2011 to December 2011. and served as its Executive Vice President of McDonald's Japan from November 2008 to April 2011. After holding a series of field operations positions, Mr. Hoffmann moved to the corporate office where he held leadership positions in numerous key functions including strategy and insights, development, training, operations and supply chain. Since 2008, when he was named Vice President of Strategy and Franchising in Japan, Mr. Hoffmann has held general management positions covering a wide range of international markets including Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa. He is a 17-year McDonald's veteran and has served in key leadership roles in APMEA since 2007. He was responsible for Restaurant Support in APMEA, he leads APMEA Strategy, Insights and Development, Operations and Supply Chain. Prior to McDonald's, Mr. Hoffmann worked for Arthur Andersen. Previously, he spent four years partnering with the McDonald's Japan Executive Team, where he was instrumental in the successful restructuring of Japan's franchising system. He played a key role in developing and driving the high-level strategies for company-operated restaurant performance, field service operations, supply chain and restaurant development. Prior to his time in APMEA, he served as a Senior Director for both North America and Global Strategy and Execution. He worked closely with McDonald's market leaders around the world on building their plans and developing strategies for greater growth and profitability. He began his career as restaurant manager in the U.S. and went on to hold a variety of U.S. Field and Operations positions. He worked as a McDonald's crew member for two years during high school in Missouri and later re-joined the company, post M.B.A., through its management training program. Mr. Hoffmann holds BS in accounting from the Indiana University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
