Greg Brown is chairman and chief executive officer of Motorola Solutions, Inc. He joined Motorola in January 2003 and was elected to the company's board of directors in 2007. He became CEO of Motorola in January 2008 and led the successful spin-off of the consumer-focused Motorola Mobility in 2011.[3]

Motorola Solutions also previously had a Networks division, which it sold to Nokia Siemens Networks in a transaction that was completed on April 29, 2011.[4] In the former Motorola parent company, it was the second largest division based on revenue.
