Iris Epple-Righi is the CEO of the ESCADA Group since September 1, 2016. Mrs. Epple-Righi has considerable experience in international apparel brands. For the past 13 years she has worked for Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, both owned by PVH Corp., most recently as President Brand Management for Calvin Klein Europe. Before Calvin Klein, Iris Epple-Righi worked for Tommy Hilfiger, where she was responsible for several years for their retail business and later for the product. Mrs. Epple-Righi started her career at the German department store Breuninger, where she was in various positions in the buying department and for her last 6 years as GMM. She has a Master of Business degree from Eberhard Karls University in Germany.
Escada is an international luxury fashion group in women's designer clothing. The company has a presence in about 60 different countries. Its main sales markets are North America, western and eastern Europe, and Asia. It filed bankruptcy in August 2009, and was acquired by Megha Mittal in November 2009.[1]
