Mr. Kenneth C. Frazier, also known as Ken, has been the President of Merck Co. Inc. since May 01, 2010 and has also been its Chief Executive Officer since January 1, 2011. Mr. Frazier served as the President of Global Human Health at Merck Co. Inc. since August 1, 2007. Mr. Frazier served as an Executive Vice President of Merck Co., Inc. since November 2006. He served as Senior Vice President of Merck Co. Inc. from December 1999 to November 2006 and General Counsel from December 1999 to August 1, 2007. He served as Manager of MedcoHealth Solutions Inc. since April 2002. Mr. Frazier served as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Merck Co. Inc. from January 1999 to December 1999; Vice President of Public Affairs and Assistant General Counsel from January 1997 to January 1999 and Vice President, Public Affairs from April 1994 to 1996, where he was responsible for public affairs, corporate legal activities and The Merck Company Foundation. He served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Astra Merck from 1992 to 1994. He was a Partner in Litigation Department of Drinker Biddle Reath from 1978 to 1992. He has been the Chairman of Merck Co. Inc., since December 1, 2011. He has been a Director of Exxon Mobil Corporation since May 2009. Mr. Frazier serves as a Director of Ethics Resource Center. He is a Board Member of Cornerstone Christian Academy, Ithaka and Legal Services of New Jersey. He is an Advisory Board Member of CorporateProBono.Org, Metropolitan Corporate Counsel, National Legal Aid and Defender Association, The Rand Institute for Civil Justice, Seton Hall University Health Law Policy Center and University of Pennsylvania Law Economics Center.
