He served as Chief Operating Officer of Middleby Corp. and its Marketing Manager from 2000 to 2001. He served as Group President of Middleby Cooking Systems Group from 1999 to 2000. He served as the President of Southbend, a Middleby company, from 1996 to 1999. He has been the Chairman of the Board at Middleby Marshall Inc. since December 23, 2004. Mr. Bassoul serves as Member of Board of Advisors at Clipper Corporation. Mr. Bassoul has been a Director of Middleby Marshall Inc. since December 23, 2004. Mr. Bassoul serves as member of the Young President Organization (YPO) and a board member of the Holy Spirit University Foundation. He served as Director of Marketing and General Manager of the Cook-Chill division and Vice President of Sales for the Vulcan Cooking Division at Premark, Inc. He received Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the YPO International Legacy Award. Mr. Bassoul started his career at Ernst & Young in the Middle East and then moved to the United States to continue his postgraduate education at the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management where he earned an M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing and a Certificate in Accounting. He received a BA in Business Administration with Distinction from American University of Beirut and was the recipient of the David Dodge Scholar Award.
