Dear Mr. Stack,
I cannot tell you how impressed I was when you publicly announced you would not sell assault rifles in Dick's Sporting Goods Stores. This country needs decisive people going to the root of the problem on issues like this. If only more of our Congress people were straight shooters like that.
In any case, I had not shopped at Dick's for several years but began to make it a point to stop by. Guess what? You have a fabulous selection of sports wear and wonderful sales also. American sports wear is our best clothing with the wicking and non-wrinkle features. I see them as clothing to wear everyday and some styles lend themselves to this perfectly. You might point this out in some of your advertising and show people wearing the clothing for everyday as well as sports activities. I will be a continuous customer.
Many thank you again for bravely taking an intelligent stand on the issue of gun control. If more people would do this, it would solve the problem.
