I am writing to you today because I was a previous business telephone customer at WINDSTREAM. However, that previous business phone number (301.552.8300) has been disconnected for a few years now. For the last six months, I have made numerous efforts to reestablish that same business phone number as a service, but your customer service has dropped the ball each time that I have called (roughly about 10 times) to reestablish service.
I would like to get my old business phone number (301.552.8300) reestablished back up with WINDSTREAM. If that is not possible, please allow me to port it to another phone company so that I can have that phone number again for my business.
I called and was on HOLD again today for roughly 30 minutes. I talked to 2 people just today and nobody could help me. The first person began to talk to me but the line got cut from your side and she did not call back. I called back and was on hold again for 15 minutes. The second agent told me that I had reached the residential line and attempted to transfer me to the business customer service. After I got to that dept, the recording said that the dept was now closed. It was 6pm by then. Such a waste of time and I have tried over 10 times in the last 6 months alone. I cannot believe that this company is being run so badly. I just cannot get anybody's attention on my issues. Either the residential dept picks up and says that they cannot help me, or the business dept picks up and says that they cannot help me. If I had not personally known you, I would have said that this is a rotten company with no standards.
Please have someone call me from your executive offices at (301) 538-5911 so that we can fix this problem. I can be reached any day of the week at that phone number.
